The hotel was established in 1985 and is orientated to traditional local architecture and high ecology standards. It consists of 10 apartments and 4 studios that have been built, next to an old 17th - century Venetian house and a beautiful church. The tiled courtyard is filled with trees and flowers and has a beautiful swimming pool in the centre, with deckchairs arranged around it. There is also a communal roof terrace, shaded with a vine-covered trellis, where one can take in the vista over the rooftops of the village and countryside to the sea below.
A short drive out of Rethymnon into the hills behind the town brings to the small village of Atsipopoulo, where this lovely group of apartments and studios have been built, next to an old 17th - century Venetian house and a beautiful church.
