HOTEL:
The hotel offers a unique opportunity to stay in a part of Sicilian history. The castle, one of two in Erice, was originally built by the Normans in the 11th Century, but includes numerous additions, including three imposing watchtowers which date from the 15th century. The castle is still owned by the Pepoli family, who first came to prominence in Sicily under the Norman court of Frederic I. The hotel was totally restored in 2005 to a very high standard and offers 6 double rooms and 1 suite as well as a restaurant, a bar and beautifully maintained gardens. Guests may also take advantage of a communal lounge area and a reading room. Facilities on offer to guests also include air conditioning, a 24-hour reception service, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility, a TV lounge and room service.
SITUACIÓN:
This hotel is set within a stunning castle and located in the medieval hill-top town of Erice. The castle occupies a dominant position and offers breathtaking views of both the sea and the Egadi Islands. Palermo Airport is around 100 km away and it is some 290 km to Catania Airport.

The rooms all come with an en suite bathroom with a shower and a bathtub as well as a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, Internet access, a minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, a king-size bed, individually adjustable air conditioning and heating and a safe.
