This establishment is a historical monument and status symbol for locals, erected in the 1920s and converted into a luxury hotel in 2003. Since 2003 it has become a unique place for business and pleasure. The Plaza Café is a casual all-day, all-purpose indoor café, ideal for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a coffee overlooking the old harbour. The Living Room lounge and bar is the ideal setting for a quiet aperitif in between the hotel's two atriums, also featuring a TV corner and a library. The bar restaurant is located on the top floor. Guests coming from the Nikos Kazantzakis International Airport should turn right at the airport exit to head in the direction of Heraklion city.
