HOTEL:
The hotel was built in the 1897 by family Fioroni and renovated in 2008; it has been the first in Europe with centralized conditioning air system. In the first months of 2008, with the achievement to preserve the prominent role that it has always played in the history of the Italian Hospitality. It offers the best care to the guests in a warm and elegant environment, respecting the stylish comfort of the luxury hotel.
SITUACIÓN:
The hotel is situated in the historic centre of Genoa in the convenient (strategic) position (a few steps from the railway station Porta Principe and only 300 m from the sea station). That's why it's easy to get to it from any part of the city. The communication with the airport Cristoforo Colombo (only 7 km from the hotel) is carried out through the motorway Genova Ovest. Moreover it is situated not far from the main sight scenes (Aquario di Genova, Palazzo Reale, Galata Museo del Mare) and the shopping area of the city.
HABITACIÓN:
It offers 116 rooms among which 6 junior suites, 2 Gym suites, 1 suite and a Presidential suite. Typical elements of Liguria's architecture define the wardrobes; the images on the inside walls remind us the city and its history. Old trunks and relics of far-away countries are reminiscence of the golden age of the great transatlantic trips. The rich stuffs have colours inspired to the nature: sea, sky, slate (Genoa traditional stone), sand and sun are tightly tied up to Liguria; the perfect suggestions for relating the hotel to the territory that surrounds us. Every single room is different from the others, and each one tells us a different story. |
