Built in 2008 and renovated in 2009, this design hotel is an establishment of distinct individuality. The artist Heiko Nemitz exclusively created the interior in cooperation with hotel owners, who share a passion for culture and art. Guests are welcomed to the hotel in the lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe and lift access. In addition to the 25 guests rooms, the hotel also features a bar, a breakfast room and, for a fee, WLAN Internet access and a laundry service.
The hotel is located just 400 m away from the exhibition centre and the city centre is only 2 km away with good connections to the public transport network. A tram stop and a lot of local attractions are situated around the hotel or are easy to reach within short walking distance. Cologne/Bonn Airport is approximately 14 km away, while Düsseldorf Airport is 65 km and Frankfurt Airport is around 215 km from the hotel.
The individual interiors of the rooms are all uniquely decorated with steel sculptures and art from all over the world. All of the en suite rooms offer double beds, a minibar, air conditioning, a radio, a safe and satellite TV, as well as a hairdryer and a shower. The rooms are equipped with WLAN Internet access (surcharge applies), a direct dial telephone and a desk. Complimentary newspapers are also available and all guest rooms are non-smoking.
